Navigation, not a diagnosis. Each care area organises questions and the products staff have explicitly mapped to it. A mapped product is not a suitability decision: fit comes only from recorded ingredients, your companion’s recorded facts and the published rules. Nothing here is veterinary advice.
Understand before choosing
Start with what matters.
Twelve care areas, each a starting point for the questions behind a purchase rather than a shopping list.
Not sure where to start? Work through the guided questions — the guided steps read a companion saved to your household; every care area below stays open without one.

When a care area has no mapped product, this directory says so rather than filling the gap with an unrelated product or another species’ item. Where a question needs a professional, this storefront cannot answer it: contact your own veterinary practice.
Read from pawtailor.public_need_topic and pawtailor.public_product_need (migrations 0049). Tile captions are transcribed from the supplied journey cards (J:30 primary order, J:7/J:14/J:17 for the cat children); the taxonomy is staff-editable data, not a clinical rule. Five care areas carry a low-resolution reference lifted from the supplied PDFs — docs/design/need-asset-use.json and need-hero-placeholder-use.json bind each picture to its source page and object. The other seven carry an interim presentation placeholder: a licensed stock photograph bound by docs/design/need-presentation-photos.json and labelled on the tile, added so the directory can be shown to the client while final photography is commissioned. Neither set is production photography, neither is cleared for launch, and none of these pictures is a product, a suitability claim or another species standing in for a missing one.
